like.. a term that I’m remember is “diamond backs”
Mo: i dont know……but i just remember getting
excited everytime i found an HB
Shahryar: but.. that doesn’t sound right
I remember once in a while
this one dude would come in
withone of those really thick pencils
and he’d be like
“you get a hundred licks
and then I get one”
Mo: those garfield pencils?
like the ones you get as souveniers?
Shahryar: yep
I forgot what hte penalty was for hitting
someone’s finger
and there was one thing you weren’t allowed to do
“bracing”
Shahryar: do you remeber that?
Mo: haha….yeah
Shahryar: that was like when you held the pencil strongly

back then it’d suck cause we only had a few pencils

took like an hour or so
but i think he finally beat me
it was the greatest thing ever
i talked of it for years
Shahryar: wait.. you had the garfield pencil?
or you both did?
Mo: both of us did
Shahryar: damn
that’s like an epic battle
