(… after a long discussion on our financial management techniques)
Shahryar: and the other thing is that you don’t always get emailed helpful info
like if you buy something via paypal or google checkout
you wont know if you used your bank account or credit card
Mo: you get multiple receipts usually
one from the store
and one from google
Shahryar: dude.. i like printing as I do stuff, its just easier that way. If its printed and in my “to follow up with” pile, I will deal with it.
but what I want to do
is soften everything
and print .pdfs to save paper and avoid clutter
the downside is that .pdfs I print at work, I would have to remember to put on a usb or whatever
but now with box.net
I can upload them online
and wherever I go through my statements – at home or work – I can have access to all my receipts for the month
Mo: ahh….so box.net
this is where all this was going
Shahryar: well, and sharing our ideas on how we do our bills
which you shared
Mo: my problem is the opposite of yours though
i have a hard time keeping tack of my hard copy receipts
which is like 90% of them
i stopped even trying
i usually remember when Im looking at the statment …
but once in a while I’ll have some shit on there which i cant remember…
then I start yelling and beating sabeen
Shahryar: LOL
Mo: haha
Shahryar: you get a cap lol
because snot came out
I was just snotty
Mo: lol…ew
Shahryar: good timing on your part though
eww man.. I got a mess over here
feel bad for the person who gets this cube when I move
